The 38th North Carolina Troops are a unique group of individuals who portray and honor the memory of the American Civil War Soldier.

We are a group of like minded living historians and War Between the States re-enactors who enjoy the history of our ancestors and love teaching that history to others.

The regiment participates in battle re-enactments, school programs, monument and marker dedications, and some of our members have been in the movies “Gettysburg” and Gods and Generals”.

We actively supports the efforts of the Sons of Confederate Veterans as well as the Daughters of the Confederacy.

Our sole purpose is to preserve the history of  the North Carolina’s role in the war and to portray the men and women who lived, served, suffered, and died during those turbulent years between 1860 through 1865.

North Carolina provided 125,000 men for the war. Over 620,000 Americans, North and South, died in the war, 40,000 of these were North Carolinians. We must never forget these brave people!

We would like to invite you and you family to review our website, sign our guestbook, and consider joining us.

We would love to have you in our regiment. Looking forward to seeing you on the field of honor!!!!
